Key Largo has a fish with your name on it, so let Key Largo Fishing Adventures help you catch it!
These waters are known for Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Bull Shark, Mutton Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Wahoo, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Jordan can also show you kite fishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 38’ Topaz sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair (depending on targeted fish), all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. Not all types of fishing require live bait.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 18–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Captain Jordan can also hook you up to get your catch mounted!
Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Key Largo Fishing Adventures is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
