Bracciano Lake 

A volcanic lake with crystal clear water, to chase the Italic Pike (yes, you read it right, Esox Cisalpinus, a rare Italian subfamily different from the Northern Pike), Largemouth Bass and more to chase spinning or even fly fishing. All at just fifty minute from the city centre of Rome.

Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

Your vessel for the day is a 17’ bass boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
