These waters are known for Grunt, Snappers, Groupers, Mahi Mahi, Great Barracuda, Caribbean Queen Snapper, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Island Service Adventurers
welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be fishing aboard a 28' Mako center console with space for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Dangelo has rods and reels for you.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
