Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Crappie, Sand Bass, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. On these trips, it’s common to bottom fish using light tackle.
Waterman Outdoor Adventures welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 24’ Blue Wave bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is available. Fishing jugs makes for a fun trip (especially for kids!) and greater chances of a huge catfish haul.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is available online through TPWD or at many local retailers.
It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board. Layer up during the fall and spring, the boat ride can be cold even on sunny days. waterproof footwear is also recommended in colder months.
