Book your next trip with One More Drift Fishing Adventures and find out what the fishing in Buffalo is all about. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Peter can tell you all about the local fishery.

Smallmouth Bass, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Walleye, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the time of year. On these trips, it's common to drift and bottom fish using light tackle.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep up those energy levels!

Your adventure begins aboard a 21' Alumacraft aluminum fishing boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Perfect fishing day with Captain Peter
Full Day Trip on August 1, 20262 adults

I can’t express how fantastic our fishing trip with Captain Peter was! We were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of the experience. Not only did we have great success in catching bass, but Captain Peter truly elevated the entire day. He is an exceptional charter captain, brimming with knowledge—not just about fishing techniques, but also about the intricacies of Lake itself. On top of that, Peter is simply a wonderful person. He’s approachable, friendly, and has a demeanor that instantly puts you at ease, allowing you to fully enjoy your time on the water. If you're searching for a charter service, I wholeheartedly recommend Captain Peter. You won't be disappointed!

Capt. Peter Goretti
Half Day Trip on July 2, 20263 adults

We booked a half day early summer fishing charter with Captain Peter and our trip was great! Peter got my 88-year-old father-in-law and my adult son and I to one of his hot spots, geared up, and catching walleye right away (a few bass too). This was my father-in-law's best walleye catch ever on the upper river, where he has lived and fished his entire life. Peter was personable and communicative, but not overly chatty (a good thing for guys). He was accommodating to my father-in-law who needed a little extra care getting in and out of the boat, and he was friendly and encouraging to all three of us. He is also a master using the fillet knife on the fish. We highly recommend fishing with Captain Peter, and we would happily do so again.

Peter is a solid captain and great company!
Full Day Trip on June 7, 20263 adults

He took a group of three of us out on Lake Erie for some walleye fishing. Im from the south and had never caught a walleye. He changed that quickly within the first hour. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Niagara River/Lake Erie fishing for multiple species. He's the real deal native Western New Yorker fishing captain. I definitely will be recommending him to anyone looking for a charter. Keep up the good work.
