Macaronesia Charter invites you to experience the stunning waters of San Sebastián De La Gomera. Your guide for the day is Captain Enrique, offering years of local experience.

These waters hold game fish like Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Dentex, Dusky Grouper, Blue Marlin, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take with you.

Kids are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

You’ll be fishing aboard a 37’ Bertram 37 convertible that can carry up to 5 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
