Montego Bay has a fish with your name on it, so let Nasty Charters Jamaica help you catch it! Captain Owen will be your guide, bringing aboard years of angling experience.
Around here it’s common to catch Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Shortbill Spearfish, Sailfish, Great Barracuda, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Tripletail, and more with your luck. For these species, you’re likely to troll using light or heavy tackle.
Capt. Owen is happy to have kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your boat for the day is a classic Bertram 46’ Convertible that can carry up to 12 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 15–20% tip is customary.
"Nasty" is equipped with its own fishing license so no license needed. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.

Absolute Beauty of a Day
Big thanks to Capt Hamish, Capt Owen, the First Mate and Crew. We were treated to a wonderful day and enjoyed every bite of our catch. Everyone was super accommodating and kept us engaged during our afternoon. Too bad the marlin broke the hook but yay to the wahoo for making up for it. Oh my gosh, it was super tasty!! Nothing can beat a day in Jamaica and our time with Nasty Charters topped off our adventures, hands down. Thanks again and we know everyone in our group, from the 6 yr old to the 72 yr old, appreciated their experience.

Great crew and great boat!
I fish a lot! I have my own boat and fish with friends with their own boats. This crew knows what they’re doing. If this fish out there they will catch them. Fishing on a classic Bertrum in Jamaica what else can you ask for? I would strongly recommend this charter for anybody that wants to go out and catch some fish.

Great boat and crew - Just no fish this day
Everything was GREAT. Just no fish. Prior to the trip, I had requested that if marlin, wahoo or tuna were not biting that we fish for other species just to catch something. Hamish messaged me back and said that it that were to happen we could try bottom fishing for snapper and grouper. However, this information did not get relayed to the crew. When asked them about after 3 hours into the trip, it was too late, we were heading back to the marina. Beautiful boat and GREAT crew!!!
