Come out and join our passion for fishing from Hilton Head Island aboard the Sara Madison.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Video games in the galley incase the fish aren’t cooperating. Children under 12 must wear life vests while underway, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your excursion begins aboard a 40’ Wellcraft 330 Coastal sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There’s a bathroom on board for your convenience. Capt. Mike has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

8 Hour Trip AM - Midshore
Great day of fishing!!!
Planned a 8 hour offshore trip for my nephews and Dad in mid-May. Captain Mike was phenomenal to work with and was a great/timely communicator as any questions came up. Boat was very comfortable for 6. We had some trouble getting the anchor to hold early on which kept our lines out of the water for a bit. To compensate, Captain Mike gave us an extra hour of fishing time at the back end. We were very appreciative! Caught some good sized sharks, a grouper and a remora. It was impressive that Captain Mike managed everything without a first mate. He definitely works his tail off for his clients. We all enjoyed the day and made some great memories. Thanks for a great trip Mike! Hope to cross paths again someday.

3 Hour Trip - Shark
By far the best fishing trip we’ve ever had!
Today was absolutely incredible. And not because we caught the biggest fish we’ve ever caught but because every need was met. Everybody caught a few fish and I was with four teenage boys. Most importantly this boat had a toilet. If you’ve ever been out fishing and not had a toilet, you understand that it can be very uncomfortable not to have one and everybody used it on our trip. This boat also is a little bit bigger and if you’ve got seasickness like I do that can make all the difference. Mike did a great job of attending to all of us while we fished. We never ran out of bait. I cannot say enough good things. I would go out with Mike again anytime and highly recommend both his services and this boat.

5 Hour Trip – Reef Fishing
Great Trip and Great Captain
Our trip with Captain Michael was great. He was very communicative and reasonable with his pricing. We originally booked a reef trip but due to strong winds, Captain Michael was transparent with us and gave us a few options for how we may proceed. We ended up opting for inshore fishing instead. I had planned this trip for a friend's birthday, and unfortunately, one of my guys ended up getting seriously motion-sick a quarter into our trip. Captain Michael completely understood and was very understanding and accommodating. He was more than happy to revisit the dock so that we could drop our friend off and allow him to recover. Captain Michael was very attentive to my group and helped with knots, frays, and bait. We ended up pulling in a variety of species ranging from bluefish to whiting. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend Captain Michael to anyone looking for a good time on the water!

Great time with our kids!
Captain Mike took our kids out on the Sara Madison yesterday. (Our kids are 8 and 10). He was so good with them. We caught a lot of shark and catfish. It was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend it.
