Depending on the season, you might hook into Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Thresher Shark, and anything else that bites.

You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Melvin also offers Flounder gigging.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!

You’ll be fishing aboard a 20’ SunTracker 20 pontoon boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a portable toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
