Book your next trip with Reel Broke and find out what you’re missing in San Pedro. With Captain William at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Great Barracuda, Amberjack, Bonefish, Bonito, Black Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Grunt, African Pompano Jack, Horse-eye Jack, Almaco Jack, Jack Crevalle, Atlantic Mackerel, and more if conditions are right. You’ll target your catch by spinning, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. William also offers fly fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 25’ Captain Sharks center console that can carry up to 12 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
