+142There's a fish with your name on it in Nassau and Cozy Waters will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain George, so you'll benefit from years of local experience.
Amberjack, Yellowtail Snapper, Red Grouper, Scup (Porgy), Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be casting lines from a 24' Tidewater center console with capacity for 8 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. George has rods and reels for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.

What a trip!!

What a great trip from the get go! The crew changed their time of departure for us since we were coming off of a cruise. The fun started as soon as we got on the boat. The crew gave us a little background of the area and asked what we wanted to catch. The crew went above and beyond to get us on fish from the first stop. Within the first hour we had 15+ fish on the boat. As we were starting to pick up to move spots, the crew let us reel in a Bull Shark. The second coolest experience. We still had about an hour and half left so we asked if we could go snorkeling. They took us to one of the reefs, set up all the snorkeling equipment for us then told us to jump. This was by far not something they had to do for us but it was amazing! As we snorkeled around the reef, George cooked the fish we caught on the boat. This was by far the best fish we have ever had... 2 people in our group dont usually eat fish and both loved it. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better meal, snorkeling, and fishing experience. So good we have already told everyone to book with them and plan on coming back next year!

My wife, two kids (13 year old son 17 year old daughter), and I did the fish and lunch trip and it was one of the best charter trips I’ve been on. George and DeVonte were great! They were both so friendly and easy to work with. They customize the trip to each guests preference and you can truly tell they love their work. Whether you’re a skilled angler or a beginner, you’ll have a great time. We caught a lot of fish and a lot of different varieties. You can’t beat catching your fish and then eating it fresh right off the boat. George can cook up a mean fish dish! All that said, the fishing was great but it was the experience and the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that makes it so great. My daughter and wife don’t fish but they hade a great time and want to do it again the next time we’re in the Bahamas. 1000% this should be your go to charter in the Bahamas.

Amazing Day On The Water

Our group of 4 had an amazing day out on the water with George, Devonte, and Jaiden. From the moment we stepped on the boat we were treated with kindness, respect, and true professionalism. The fishing experience we had was great and then to be able to eat what we caught just made the whole experience such a unique one. The last part of our trip just relaxing on the beach of Rose Island finished off an amazing day on the water. We have taken charters before in various places but this charter topped them all. If you want a unique, relaxing, and fun filled experience where you are treated like family and the day is all about you, then this is the experience for you.

Very professional and kind crew/owner. I would definitely recommend this excursion for the price that you pay. Be sure to make sure the winds aren’t going to be too high before going out. It can be a little rough. That’s not on the crew of the ship, though. We had a rough time out there on the ocean, but made the best of it. The weather here is its own player. Caught a really cool strawberry grouper. The crew and owner really care about you and your experience on their excursion. We started our trip with a prayer to the Lord and He kept us safe. The boat launches from a dock in front of a medium sized pink house. This might help just in case if you’re trying to figure out where to park at the intersection of village and east bay road.

This was an absolutely phenomenal charter and experience ! Captain George was first class and very transparent about the different excursions. Devonte and Jayden were fantastic. We went out with the soul purpose of catching fish , and that we did ! Give or take a few we went home with around 50 keepers , a mix of strawberry grouper, grunts and two huge triggerfish! Also caught a few remoras which was a bonus! I could go on and on , bottom line - don’t look any further and book with Cozy Waters ! I rarely post reviews but when I do it’s definitely well worth it !
