If you're here to make the most of fishing in Point Pleasant NJ or Manasquan NJ, look no further than OutKast Charter. With Captain Chris at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Providing Fishing and Spearfishing to the Manasquan River area.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefish, Flounder, Striped Bass, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bluefin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Tautog, Blacktip Shark, and whatever else takes the bait. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
You'll be casting lines from a 24' Defiance pilothouse that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Chris will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water.

4 Hour Trip – Stripers
Best Fishing Trip
We went half day striper fishing and cleaned up. We caught about 30 stripers in total and limited out are keepers. Captain Chris was full of knowledge and knows the waters like the back of his hand. He loved watching my 2 young kids (4 and 6 years old) reel in their stripers on their own. Besides catching fishing we saw huge blue fin tuna feeding right off the beach and a hump back whale come in real close to feed on the bunker. Definitely one of the coolest trips we’ve been on!

5 Hour Trip – Stripers
Full day fall striper
Started the day at the marina. Simple entry and location. Captain Chris and his crew was standing by when we arrived. He gave us a quick safety run down, then we were underway. Comfy ride in the cabin! Once we broke the inlet, we found a fishy area and began trawling. It didn’t take long before we hooked up to our first striped bass. We continued using techniques like snag and drop and jigging to catch what seemed like hundreds of striped bass throughout a perfect day on the water. Upon returning to the dock, our “keep” was processed and we were sent off with clean fish, smiles, and memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Captain Chris!

High Tide Stripers Manasquan
Half Day with Captain Chris
My son and I booked a private fishing trip with Chris. It was a nice sunny day with a steady 15 mph breeze. Chris was a great captain! It was too rough to get through the inlet and ocean so we spent our time in the Manasquan River. Chris knew where the strippers and blues hung out. Where other boats seemed to be struggling, we were consistently catching fish. We trolled between the bridges, and anchored at times. We caught over our limit, and many we had to catch and release. We had a fun time and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Chris for a great, relaxing day!

Fluke in Manasquan RIver
Morning Fluke Trip
We went out on an early morning fluke trip. Even though we didn't catch anything, the captain was very proactive with trying to help us and we even tried other strategies as well. We did notice that on all the boats around us. No one else seem to be actually catching anything either and we did have a great morning out on the water. Fun times & great fishing!
We had an excellent trip in the river yesterday! Captain Chris got us onto striped bass pretty quickly. He mixed it up too. we enjoyed a little boat ride to the inlet and got onto some black fish. Beautiful day to be out and never a dull moment. Can't wait to fish with him next time we're in town!
