Queensbury has a fish with your name on it, so let Adirondack Tight Lines help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Zach, which allows you to benefit from years of professional experience.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Largemouth Bass, Cutthroat Trout, Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Striped Bass, Salmon, Walleye, Crappie, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and who knows what else! On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Zach also offers fly fishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep their stamina going!
You'll find yourself aboard a 18' Bayliner that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Adirondack Tight Lines!
