Capt. Matt operates a 22' Sundance bay boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Awesome 2 hour trip!
Cruise and Fish on July 29, 2025
Surprised my long time girlfriend with this 2 hour outing with Captain Matt. I’m not really into fishing but my girl likes it and never gets to go. When we arrived Captain Matt asked me what we wanted to fish for and I said the bigger the better for her lol. I hooked the first fish and fought it for five minutes and turned it over to her lol. Captain Matt didn’t disappoint every fish she caught which was 7 total in 2 hours. The Red drums was all between 15-20lbs! Just what the doctor ordered! Highly recommend Captain Matt! Captain Matt was a great person and had us on fish all day! We were almost 30 mins late due to us having the wrong address. Matt was understanding and waited for us patiently. His boat was clean and organized. Also he helped us with what ever we needed. He baited hooks if we needed or casted if we needed. If we felt comfortable casting and baiting he trusted us with his equipment to do it ourselves. I highly recommend him and I will be scheduling another fishing trip with him for years to come. Thank you Matt!!!

We had a great time with Captain Matt. We did the night fishing trip and it was amazing. Matt is very good with kids and put them on fish. We caught Mangrove Snapper, Speckled Trout, and a few catfish too. All in all great time and I can’t say enough good things about Captain Matt. We will be booking again with Matt in the future 100%

Wonderful private fishing days
Half Day Trip Evening on March 11, 2025
This was a very productive and rewarding outing for two beginner/novice fishing brothers… we had two beautiful days of weather in 75° temperature, a boat that could handle all of the inland waterways with no problem and the myriad of back channels that would confuse anyone, except for our calm and accommodating captain. Matt was just a perfect example of a young man with a lot of knowledge and skill and devotion. We successfully caught 11 different species of fish, definitely a successful trip, he was very responsive and made the private excursion a wonderful experience
