Come aboard with Captain Patrick Cheek for a night of gigging on the bay filled with fun and adventure!
We will depart the dock 30 minutes before dark from Cove Harbor or Conn Brown Harbor aboard the beautiful custom built 2024 Boat Right floundering boat powered by a Tohatsu 250 and equipped with high powered LED lights.
As we search for our target species of Flounder, Black Drum and Sheepshead on the sandy flats and shorelines, we may happen onto some of the many other inhabitants of the bay system including Redfish, Crabs, Stingrays and occasionally Sharks. There's also a very good chance of having up close encounters with dolphins which adds to the over all experience.
Water and ice will be provided with extra room for personal drinks, or you may bring one ice chest with drinks and snacks. Beer is ok, but please no liquor and no glass!
Your catch will be filleted and in a bag ready to go home with you.
Things you will need: a valid Texas Saltwater fishing license, non-slip closed toed shoes.
Recommended: a light jacket, bug spray, snacks, drinks, ice chest to take your fillets home.

Our trip with Captain Patrick was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, he provided an engaging and educational experience. Not only did we catch fish, but we also learned a great deal about the bay and ocean life. Captain Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the proper techniques and what to look out for while on the water. The boat was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. One of the highlights of our trip was spotting dolphins just four feet away from the boat—a moment we’ll always remember. Captain Patrick’s friendly and personable approach made the experience feel tailored and memorable. If you’re looking for a guide who is both professional and personable, and who truly goes above and beyond to ensure a meaningful outing, I highly recommend this trip. You won’t regret it!

Had a slow start due to murky water conditions. But he found clear spots and got us in some flounder. Great experience !!
The captain is very polite and knows where to catch flounder. He works very hard the whole trip
Very friendly and hard working to make sure you get on fish
