Book your next trip with Stellar Action Fishing Charters and find out what the fishing in Sarasota is all about. Your guide for the day is Captain Nick Thomas, giving you access to years of professional experience.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Hogfish, Redfish, Sheepshead, Red Grouper, Cobia, Pompano, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, and plenty more. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Darius also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Capt. Darius welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Darius runs a 20' Sea Pro center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

5 Hour Trip
Great Day on the Water!
Nick put us on fish from the very first spot. We caught at least 8 species of fish with many keepers to take to a restaurant and have them cook them up for us. Possibly 60-70 fish for the day between 3 of us. We had a beginner and 2 that could cast for themselves. Nick fixed up the beginner and by the end of the day she could cast for herself. Nick is a generally good person which shows in his skills as a guide.

Great experience!
Captain Nick was a fantastic guide & incredibly helpful to our non-fishing family of 4 (two adults & 2 teens). We had a great time, Nick was fun & engaged, and we caught a lot of different fish during our 3-hour excursion. We definitely recommend this trip!
