Me and a few of my friends went on an inshore fishing trip with Captain Dustin and his first mate Ben for my bachelor party and we had a blast! Both of them were professional and did everything to get us on some fish. We trolled around for a bit and ended up hooking on a tuna that gave me the hardest fight of my life. Ben and Dustin guided me through the fight and we finally landed it. We also caught a few decent sized mahi and captain Dustin even filleted the fish for us. Overall I would highly recommend booking a trip with Over-Board Sportfishing. You will have a great time and will not be disappointed!
I had a good feeling from the start of this booking. Captain Dustin read the notes on my booking and responded quickly. Leading up to the trip he was always fast to respond to any messages. The day before the trip he recommended us leaving two hours later (and returning two hours later) to allow the seas to calm down. He gave us great directions on where to find his boat, but it being bright yellow also helps. The boat is comfortable and has some good spots to sit and relax. Our mate Ben also did a good job with everything. Most importantly this trip was for my son's birthday. He had never done an offshore trip, handled big fish, or big Penn International reels. They coached him through the fights, did a great job clearing lines, and handling the boat to ensure we got the fish to the gaff. We got mahi, some solid bluefin tuna, and a stud wahoo. They did a great job packing the fish with ice. When we returned they cleaned our catch for us and bagged the meat in zip lock bags. There is nothing I could nit-pick even of I wanted to. The trip exceeded my expectations. The icing on the cake is the cost was a lot more economical than anyone else and more in line with pricing of charters on a center console boat.
This was my kids first time being on a charter boat and Captain Dustin recommended a 4 hout trip for their first time, which was perfect. My kids got to experience trolling and bottom fishing Captain Dustin and mate Ben did a great job putting us on fish and keeping lines in the water. Great first time experience for my kids. We will be back on this boat again and recommend it to anyone else.

Small mahi-mahi, almaco jack, sea brass. the captain tried everything to get larger fish. Listen to us, when we changed to just going after seabass. It was not a calm sea. But a beautiful day. Mate was awesome also. Would we boot again. YES!
Dustin and his mate Dan took us right to the fish and the fish kept on biting! after we got our fair share of blues we started drift fishing and the seabass and flounder came right to us. Excellent experience with a Captain that knows the water and what the fish are up to. Highly recommend this charter to anyone that wants lots of action and to leave with a good haul of fish!
