Fishing for Zander, Catfish, and Asp on the Danube in the Iron Gate Gorge. Techniques include lure fishing, vertical jigging, and clonk fishing. The season lasts year-round, and fishing is done from a boat.
Two boats are available for clients. The first is a Taymen boat, 5.25 meters in length, paired with a Tohatsu 20 HP outboard motor and MotorGuide bow motor with 80 lb of trust on Djerdap Danube. The second is an aluminum boat, Finval brand, 4.75 meters in length, equipped with a 60 HP outboard motor and a MotorGuide bow motor with 80 lbs of thrust in Apatin Danube.
Lure fishing for Taimen on the Drina River. The season runs from September 1 to March 1. Fishing takes place along approximately 60 kilometers of the Drina River, from shore.
The meeting locations vary depending on what the client wants to fish for. If fishing in Apatin, the meeting point is Apatin. If the client is fishing on the Danube in the Đerdap area, the meeting point is Golubac. If the client wants to fish for taimen, the meeting point is Loznica.

The best experience and top fishing

First of all, this was the best experience I've ever had with a guide. Captain Dušan is excellent, responsible, and a great angler. The boat we used for fishing is top-class and equipped with all the necessary technology.
We fished for catfish using lures, and with Captain Dušan's help—thanks to his outstanding knowledge of the water—I managed to catch three catfish of nice size. In addition to that, we caught around ten pike-perch, which we released due to the spawning season.
Captain Dušan is professional and kind. There were great snacks on board, as well as non-alcoholic drinks and beer.
Truly a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend fishing with the captain.

First of all, I would like to say that Dusan is a nice person and a good guide. From our first conversations, but also during the trip, it was clear to me that he is an experienced fisherman. Moreover, he speaks fluent English and will provide you with all the necessary information. I chose a trip for Danube salmon (Hucho hucho) fishing - it is not my usual kind of fishing, but I just wanted to try something new. I have never fished and have never caught this species. This is a very specific kind of fishing, and unfortunately, on that day nothing bit. I had one strike, and I saw a fish following the lure, but no catch. Anyway, Dusan did his best in leading us along Drina River banks, in the best spots - wonderful landscapes, nice moments, new information and experience. I would like to mention that not all the information is clear from the website, but Dusan had clearly provided to me all the details. So, I just recommend that customers contact Dusan for any concerns. Thank you Dusan for guiding us on this trip...and maybe next time, I will catch the mountain river queen - Mladica (Danube salmon).

To start out he was 30 min late, then he was rude that we had no gear. I explained in america guides supply gear. The first spot we went to I got one bite then he moved immediately like he was protecting the fish. I paid him for me and my fiancé to fish but when she grabbed the pole he took it at her hand. The side of the boat that the fish where on, he hoarded and made sure I could not fish that side. He flipped cigarettes into the water. The lunch he offered was cold nasty looking meat. When I asked him for a copy of my fishing license, he ran me around and said the marina had it after the trip. He was very arrogant and rude even took pictures of our license plate. I would avoid this guy. He had his friends pull up in a different boat. He had no idea that I understand Serbian and he was talking about how he was just wasting time with Americans. This guy is very arrogant and rude. One of the worst experience I've had with a guided trip and I have been on
many.

We encounter all kinds of people and comments, but this is truly unheard of.
Fishing rods and reels are not included in the price (as clearly stated on Fishing Booker), yet you were provided with a complete fishing set free of charge, without any additional fee.
The 10-minute delay was solely to provide you with fishing equipment that you were supposed to bring with you.
You had the opportunity to fish each spot thoroughly. In fact, you requested to finish earlier and did not want to wait until the end of the fishing day.
Food is not included in the price, only snacks. Nevertheless, you had soft drinks, beer, and traditional Serbian snacks. The cold pizza you ate was brought by you and was your own food.
The client handled expensive fishing rods very carelessly, hitting them against the boat and throwing them around.
The client did not have money on him, so we had to wait for an hour after the trip for him to withdraw cash from an ATM.
When paying in Serbian currency, the client still remained in debt and did not settle the full amount in the end.
The client did not pay for parking at a state-owned facility, so in the end, based on the license plate, I had to cover that cost myself since he was my guest.
Fishing Licence was send on clients e mail.
As a guide, my recommendation to colleagues is not to accept this client.
