CR Fishing Charters – 48' Viking
Make an adventure out of your next trip in Playa Tamarindo and go fishing with CR Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jonathan knows them forwards and back.
These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Cubera Snapper, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Broomtail Grouper, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be fishing aboard a 48' Viking sportfishing vessel with space for 12 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are supplied for you, but feel free to ask the captain about bringing your own if you wish. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be drinks and food onboard. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with CR Fishing Charters!

The charter operation canceled -5 days after the trip date.
