Island Lady Adventures is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Fort Myers Beach. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Steve can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Black Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Lane Snapper, Mullet Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, and who knows what else! On these trips, it's common to bottom fish.
You'll be casting lines from a 40' Tides sportfishing vessel with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Steve will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Island Lady Adventures!
