Make an adventure out of your next trip in Fort Myers Beach and go fishing with Galaxy Adventures. With Captain Braden at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
You're likely to fish for Great Barracuda, Lane Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Gag Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Red Grouper, Amberjack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Tiger Shark, Tripletail, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and more with any luck. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Capt. Braden will bring you aboard the Dreamer, a 34' Albemarle sportfishing vessel with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Braden will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Lunch is provided, just reach out to learn more, especially if you have any dietary needs.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Galaxy Adventures.
