Make that daydream about fishing in Covelo a reality, with Coelho Fishing!

Here you won't be far from remote lake waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.

The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, which is what you'll be doing on the day of your trip. You may also jig and bottom fish, bottom fish, spin or cast a popping cork, cast a popping cork for your catch. Miguel will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.

Carp, Pike Perch (Zander), Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right.

Note that your guide practices catch-and-release fishing, so won't be taking any fish home with you after the trip. You're welcome to bring up to 3 anglers on this guided experience. You'll be fishing without a boat or with a float tube, so expect to make your way on foot or to make your way by float tube and come dressed for current weather conditions.

Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water, no matter the weather.
