Vancouver Island Drift 

If you're here to make the most of fishing in Duncan, look no further than Vancouver Island Drift.

Species like Brown Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Dolly Varden, Coho Salmon, and more are in the cards, depending on when you go. For these fish, you're likely to drift using light tackle. Capt. Conor also offers fly fishing.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Capt. Conor welcomes you aboard a 16' RMR Raft that holds up to 2 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
