Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard. Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
Your day begins aboard a 1875 Lund Impact XS fishing boat with capacity for 1 to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. The captain will have a toilet available at the landing for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, it is necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. These are available at local bait stores as well as the Wisconsin DNR Website. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. I have been guiding off and on since i was 9 years old when i worked at a local resort just down the road from my house. I have spent most of my life fishing and hunting and decided to go all in guiding full time a few years ago. I worked 13 years in fisheries for the Wisconsin Department Of Natural Resources and spent 9 years creating fishing and hunting tips and content for Bass Pro Shops and Outdoorsfirst Media. Fishing is my passion and I now get more out of a day on the water teaching people how to fish and getting experienced anglers on fish.
