Depending on the season, you might hook into Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Almaco Jack, Amberjack, African Pompano Jack, Wahoo, Cubera Snapper, and anything else that bites. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Felipe can also have you kite fishing.

Felipe Valdez Sportfishing welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Capt. Felipe runs a 27' Sea Hunt center console with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 15–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
