Jackpot Sport Fishing offers luxury trips at unbeatable rates out of the famous Marina Pez Vela in Quepos. It’s famous not only for the unbeatable fishing, but also for its fantastic placement just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park.
You will be fishing aboard the “Good Day,” a 31’ custom-built offshore sportfishing boat powered by a 330 HP Cummins engine. The boat can accommodate up to 5 anglers. It is equipped with outriggers, centerriggers, a livewell and Tuna tubes, as well as tournament-grade live bait and lures.
With top-of-the-line Shimano and Penn tackle, you can use a huge variety of fishing techniques. You’ll get the chance to try out light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, spinning, popping, jigging, trolling, and even fly fishing!
Jackpot Sport Fishing provides a great range of trips to make sure you get exactly what you want from your time on board. You can fish inshore in the islands, river mouths, and rocky outcrops for Roosterfish, Snook, Snapper, Jacks, and Mackerel.
Have an offshore adventure heading 40 miles out to battle monster pelagics such as Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin, Pacific Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo – the list just keeps going!

3/4 Day Trip – Offshore on June 24, 2024
We had a great time on GOOD DAY with Capt Manuel and Jackson. At the start of our trip, Capt Manuel told us off shore was best this time of year and what fish to target. We found yellowfin jumping and within 10 minutes had two on. This trend last all morning until we had filled our quota. We were quickly surrounded by other boats, and that’s when Jackson said we were the only boat catching anything so we attracted visitors. We trolled a bit longer and landed a Mahi and had another hit. Lunch was very tasty and Jackson cleaned enough tuna for the Crew and ourselves to take home. Benn has a terrific Team on this boat with good equipment and a wealth of knowledge. My teenage kids had a great time on the water. We will be back!!

Amazing day with kids
Full Day Trip – Offshore on July 8, 2024
We had an amazing full day offshore trip with Jackpot aboard the good day. Captain and deckhand were so hard working and put us on the fish, exactly as we requested. They were great with our kids, assisting them with reeling and everything. We caught 12 mahi even though it was out of season and a giant tuna, which is exactly what we asked for. Lunch was great and the deckhand made us the best sashimi we’ve ever had. Highly recommend, 10/10

We did two trips with Jackpot Sport Fishing. On both days we caught sailfish (released) as well as other fish (Mahi Mahi, Bonitos). Capt. Manuel and his son Yoxan did a great job and made these trips unforgettable experiences. Definitely can recommend this boat!
