Welcome to Cape Ketch Sportfishing Charters! Our goal is to provide you with a top-tier charter experience during your time here on the waters of Cape Cod.
Your captain Christos Karplus is a USCG licensed captain and a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He works full time on ships as an engineer, and carries on his passion for the ocean when he is home by offering charters. He works on the water day in and day out to ensure that you have the trip of a lifetime!
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Bluefin Tuna, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), Squid, Atlantic Mackerel, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Bonito, Tautog, and plenty more. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, and using the most effective fishing techniques available.
Trips with CKS Charters are child-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks and food for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be fishing from a restored 23' SeaCraft Center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes fully equipped with USCG approved and inspected safety gear, as well as all the most up to date Simrad electronics and essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with all of the most effective lures and bait to target the species you are after.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, water, sunscreen, and foul weather gear such as a raincoat. If you have questions about what you should bring, just ask.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
