These waters are known for Walleye, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! Depending on the fish you're after, you may find yourself trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Herman welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea , so everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Herman will bring you aboard a 28' baha 277 gle. that can carry up to 5 passengers. It has cannon downriggers with fish hawk system. Garmen and Lowrance chart plotter and fish finders. Garman auto pilot with I troll
There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray) and sunglasses. There will be water to drink, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is not allowed. Please pay the remaining balance in cash to the captain before leaving the dock. Thank you!

Perfect walleye experience

Captain Herman delivered a perfect lake Erie walleye trip. Not only did he put us on the fish, he shared the knowledge he has gathered through the years and allowed us to handle his gear as much as we were comfortable with. He works his tail off out on the water and back at the dock. He's a true craftsman with a filet knife and we will enjoy the pounds of fresh walleye with our families. This trip was a gift to our father and he was so impressed and thankful that he's ready to make it an annual experience and we are too. Captain Herman and Diane will go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible. Can't recommend enough.

The Captain and Mate were awesome and professional the whole time. We had an incident due to another boat and the crew was professional the whole time. Worked hard and fast to assist the other boat with untangling their equipment from ours and getting is back up and running. we caught our limit and had tons of fun.

Captain Herman not only put us on some good fishing but also took time to explain a lot of what he was doing, how his equipment works and a lot of what goes into fishing lake erie. Overall a great first experience on the lake for my wife and I. Would highly recommend and will be going with him and his lovely wife and first mate Diane again

What a great experience we caught fish right a way and big fish too. The captain and his crew were very patient and kid friendly. I would recommend fishing with them to anyone. My son and I will definitely be back.
