If you're ready to enjoy fishing in Erie, look no further than Big Bad Wolf Fishing Charter.
These waters are known for Walleye, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! Depending on the fish you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Herman welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Herman will bring you aboard a 24' Bayliner cuddy cabin that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be water on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is not allowed.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Big Bad Wolf Fishing Charter.
