Capt. Herman welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea , so everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Herman will bring you aboard a 28' baha 277 gle. that can carry up to 5 passengers. It has cannon downriggers with fish hawk system. Garmen and Lowrance chart plotter and fish finders. Garman auto pilot with I troll
There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray) and sunglasses. There will be water to drink, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is not allowed. Please pay the remaining balance in cash to the captain before leaving the dock. Thank you!

Not only did he put us on the fish, he shared the knowledge he has gathered through the years and allowed us to handle his gear as much as we were comfortable with. He works his tail off out on the water and back at the dock. He's a true craftsman with a filet knife and we will enjoy the pounds of fresh walleye with our families. This trip was a gift to our father and he was so impressed and thankful that he's ready to make it an annual experience and we are too. Captain Herman and Diane will go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible. Can't recommend enough.

Great people and perfect walleye chop. Had a relaxing day and limited out with nice fish. I would like to thank them again for a great time. Very professional and accommodating. I recommend them for all ages and skill level. I would make sure guests are dressed for the weather ready to have fun.
