Spend the day with Dopamine Charter and find out what the fishing in Barcelona is all about! With Captain Geronimo at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
These waters are known for Bonito, Albacore Tuna, Dentex, Amberjack, Bluefin Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Squid, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Great Barracuda, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You'll be casting lines from a 38' Tiara 3800 Open sportfishing vessel with capacity for 8 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Geronimo will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.

From the moment we stepped on board, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The snacks, cheese, and meat plates were not only delicious but clearly prepared with love – and were all included in the price, which was a great touch.
Our captain, Geronimo, was outstanding. He knew the sea like the back of his hand and had an incredible route planned out for us. Throughout the trip, we bombarded him with questions (many of which he has surely answered a hundred times before), but his passion for fishing and love for his work truly shone through. He was patient, informative, and genuinely happy to share his knowledge with us.
We caught a ton of fish and had so many laughs, but the real cherry on top was landing a huge, heavy catch – a once-in-a-lifetime experience we'll never forget. It wouldn't have been possible without Geronimo's expertise and intuition.

Recently booked a fishing with Geronimo and our group had a good time! Geronimo responds quickly and was very accommodating. We had a group of 12 and he helped us to find another boat so we all can go fishing. He was organized and summarized the plan for us prior to the trip. He also gave the option to stop by the beach before heading back to the port.
On the fishing day, he actively monitor the fish around the spots and would moved accordingly to make sure everybody has a chance to catch fish. He'll teach you how to fish too, so don't worry about it even if it's your first time.

We went tuna fishing near Barcelona, and it turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more. Catching tuna had been a long-time dream, and this trip truly made it come true.
