Depending on the season, you might hook into Crappie, Walleye, Hybrid Striped Bass, Catfish, Sauger, and whatever else takes the bait.

On the day of your trip you're likely to jig using light tackle.

Young ones are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You'll find yourself aboard a 19' Lowe aluminum fishing boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks available on board.
