Captain Zack Lynam is a Hilton Head native. Growing up on the water fishing locally from a young age starting as a mate on charter boats and eventually becoming a captain and business owner. We love taking guest to share our knowledge of fishing 40 years in our local waters. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Offering 2 to 6 hr trips for party’s up to 5 passengers. Species vary with the seasons from sheepshead to sharks, tarpon, cobia and more. Cant wait to see you on the water!

3 Hour Trip–Family Shark Fishing AM
Sharks? Did you say sharks?
Captain “Zack” was great and we had a wonderful trip. The weather was great. Following the recent days/weeks of rain the waters were somewhat muddy and the fish were moderately biting. This was a catch and release shark trip and we caught several Blacktip Sharks and Bonnethead Sharks. Everyone in our party had the opportunity to bring in at least a shark. I strongly recommend Captain “Zack” he is knowledgeable and guide you around Hilton Head for live bait and sharks.

3 Hour Trip–Family Shark Fishing AM
Fantastic day of shark fishing with my family!
My family of five had a beautiful day on the water and we caught eight sharks! Capt. Zach was such an expert and professional and great to chat with. He taught us a lot about the waters around HHI, fish and their seasons and behaviors and shared his professional story of decades of professional charter boat and fishing operation. He was calm and attentive with our three kids (10, 11 and 18) and allowed them to reel the fish in themselves and allowed for plenty of photos. It was a day that will leave huge memories for our family and we can't recommend him enough.

Fishing with Zack
I have known Zack for many years and we have fished together in the waters around Hilton Head both in the river and out front. No one knows these waters better than Zack and there are very view fishermen that have his knowledge and skill level. Plus he is just an all-around great guy. These pictures are from a trip out to near the Savannah Anchorage. We caught and released snapper and grouper along with so many cobia that I lost count. We kept one of the small cobia for the grill. We stopped on our way out to secure plenty of live bait. I have also down trips with Zack for tarpon and reds of course. I charter boats around 50 times a year on the east coast from Massachusetts to Florida and fishing Hilton Head with Zach is as good as it gets.

Had the perfect day on the water with my 16 yo son and his friend. Finally caught my Tarpin been evading me for years! Captain Zach amazing, bous caught fish non stop, absolutely the best fishing experience of my life. Cant wait to book for next year.

Great family experience!
Captain Zack was awesome! It was our 5 year olds first time on a boat and fishing. He was SO patience with our very talkative and inquisitive son. We appreciate how wiling captain was to answer all of our sons questions and let him get involved with every aspect of the charter. We got a ton of sharks and a stingray. We highly recommend Captain Zack!
