Sailfish, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Red Grouper, Black Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. George can also help you try kite fishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be welcome aboard a 30' Mako center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a minimum 20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

6 Hour Trip – Reef Drift/Anchor
Great time, great memories!
I have been fishing on the Mad Son with captain George for many times and it has always been a great pleasure with lots of good time and good memory. Captain George has put me on many of my firsts. I got my first ever Sailfish when I did the trolling trip. The first African Pompano was caught when I did the drift fishing trip. First Mutton Snapper and Red Grouper caught on slow pitch jigging was also with captain George. Especially, Mad Son provides Yellowtail Snapper fishing trip on anchored boat which I have never had or heard in the Palm Beach area. My friend and I caught our bag limit of Yellowtail Snapper and a great fun time with non stop action. These happy, good memories weren't struck by luck. These good time happened thanks to captain George's knowledge and years of expertise in fishing. Besides the fishing, captain George handles his boat pretty well in different weather conditions. Fishing on the Mad Son means I can get out to the spot and back to the dock safely, and more importantly, captain George will put me on the fish, good time on the water, and great unforgettable memories .
