Come out and enjoy Schoodic Lake or the surrounding waters for Lake Trout, landlocked Atlantic Salmon, Smallmouth Bass and more!
For the summer season enjoy fishing out of the large and cozy 20' Lund Fisherman. Agile enough to fish shallow, large enough to remain comfortable in big water even on windy days.
There are a number of ways to fish the lake for the lake and its species - up to the anglers request! Can focus on one or even all 3, so there's always an option to find the fish where they are biting.
Trolling is our most popular method being able to sit back and relax while covering lots of water and fish when targeting Lake Trout & Salmon.
Vertical jigging allows you to target the same deep water Lake Trout in a much more hands on way with light tackle. Using a GPS anchored electric motor and fish finders to hover over and locate fish, it is a far more challenging but rewarding method to catch fish.
Casting is a focus for shallow water fishing when in search of the trophy Smallmouth Bass that also exist in the lake, although the prime time to chase them is far more limited.
Ice fishing is my personal favorite! Enjoy fishing out of a fully heated hut where you're comfortable even on the coldest of days. Jig in the shack while running set lines for trout & salmon.
Trips with Tibbs Fishing Adventures are kid-friendly, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea!
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you need a fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own.
