Depending on the season, you might hook into Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Sierra Mackerel, Cubera Snapper, Groupers, Bluefin Trevally, TriggerFish, Amberjack, Yellowtail, and plenty more.
Depending on the species you're looking for, you will find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Guillermo also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing!!
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. It has a price of 20usd per angler. (you can ask the captain.) Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own.
Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
