Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Tautog, Black Seabass, Flounder, Gray Triggerfish, Striped Bass, Scup (Porgy), Common Ling, Bluefish, Cod, Pollock, and anything else that bites. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your excursion begins aboard a 58' Fyffe walkaround that can carry up to 25 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a bathroom on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and bait. Live bait is provided at certain times of the season.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We went out on an afternoon trip with 8 kids and had a great time. Tom the Captain and Chris the first mate were amazing with all the kids and were attentive to everything. They both answered every question the kids had and gave them great tips and even showed them how to filet our catch. The boat and equipment was great and everyone caught something and we left with 4 keepers. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun time with a great crew.

Just had an unforgettable fishing trip with Captain Tom and Chris. They went above and beyond, ensuring a fantastic experience for our group of nine, including 5 teenagers. We had great weather, caught plenty of fish, and the crew handled everything, from baiting hooks to filleting our catch. Highly recommend this adventure for an exciting fun day on the water.
