Homer Fishing with Tower Rock Lodge

These waters are known for Halibut, Black Rockfish, Chinook Salmon, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Tower Rock Lodge is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your boat for the day is a 31' Koffler pilothouse that holds up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
