Owned and operated by Captain Chris Reeves, Shallow Minded Guide Services is a diverse operation that can cater for all your saltwater fishing needs. Both first timers and old timers will be catered for by Captain Chris, who strives to make sure everyone who steps on board his boat is totally satisfied with their trip.
You will be fishing aboard a modern 25 ft Torrent Cat 5 flats boat that gives a fast and dry ride. Able to access extremely shallow waters, this boat is designed for fishing the skinny waters of Texas' backcountry. The boat has ample storage space for your belongings and features a trolling motor and anchoring system to get you to the fish and keep you there.
Captain Chris is a native of Corpus Christi and has fished the Coastal Bend for over 30 years. He will accommodate your every need, fishing a vast area from the Corpus Christi Bay complex to the Land Cut and targeting inshore species such as Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, and Flounder. Conditions permitting, you may even be able to hook some offshore species with him, depending on the season.

Captain was really professional and really knew what he was doing. He even gave us three hour more hours of fishing to help us tag our limits. We did not tag out but got definitely close. His servicel was comelet with cleaning of our fish. Will definitely come back and fish with him.

Full Day Trip on June 17, 2017 • 6 adultsWhat a great way to spend the day. Met Capt. Chris Reeves met us bright and early at the dock, he was geared up for us and ready to go. We hit a few stops that morning and everyone was able to bring in some fish. The captian was great in assisting and guiding our first timers. Everyone is still talking about the experience so that is worth its weight in gold.

Captain Reeves was great, the 8 hour trip flew by. We had a lot of fun and caught fish consistently.
Captain Chris did a great job getting us on plenty of fish. He was professional and knowledgeable. He spent extra time making sure my young son caught plenty of fish freeing me to enjoy the trip and focus on my own fishing. He even spent extra time offering educational information about the fish, kindness and bits of "life wisdom" to my son. We all had a great day and would love to return!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
