Looking to catch some fish in Sneads Ferry? CJ Sportfishing is your ticket!

You're likely to fish for Amberjack, Bluefish, Skipjack, Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Flounder, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Black Seabass, Blacktip Shark, Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, and more if you come at the right time of year.

On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

CJ Sportfishing is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 32' Center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish for Gulf Stream Charters (or upon request). Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Bottled water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
