We fish the rich waters of Lake Michigan from Milwaukee Bay and beyond with Blue Max Charters Salmon Fishing! The team has over 20 years of experience fishing these waters, and they will provide you with all the latest fishing equipment you need to make sure your trip with them is one to remember.
The Blue Max is a 33' Welcraft motor yacht powered by twin Mercury engines to get you to the fishing grounds quickly and efficiently. The boat can take up to 6 passengers. All children must be 50 pounds to go out on a charter!
The boat features both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a large clean toilet. The spacious deck will ensure everyone has plenty of room to fish and enjoy the sunshine, while the boat's electric downriggers will give you a high chance of success when trolling.
We feature 6, 7, and 8-hour charters for more fish and fishing time! During your trip, you will be motor trolling with up to 10 rods with lures that are placed in various depths of water to maximize your coverage of the lake. The species you will be targeting depends on the time of year. In April you can expect to fish for Chinook Salmon, Lake Trout, and Brown Trout, while in May you can enjoy a workout battling Coho Salmon and Rainbow Trout
From June to August, you can target Chinook Salmon, known as 'King' for its brute strength and size. Great-tasting Brown and Rainbow Trout are also good at this time of year. And in September and October – fish for King and Coho Salmon and Brown and Rainbow Trout as all the species gather in Milwaukee harbor before starting their journey up the rivers.
The use of great quality fishing equipment is included in the price of the trip, and you'll get ice to keep your catch fresh while on the boat. You can buy two-day resident or nonresident licenses from Blue Max Charters at $14 each. No stamp required.

Your quality people you deserve quality service and I enjoyed taking you out safe trip home
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent family fishing trip. We scheduled a 6-hour charter, but we were forced to cut the trip short and leave after only 4 hours.The conditions on the boat were unacceptable, as it was swarming with flies. Furthermore, the fishing experience was extremely poor; during our 4 hours on the water, we caught only one fish.Our family paid a significant amount of money for this excursion, and we did not enjoy it at all. Given that the trip was cut short
hello Alex, we did what we could with the trip. The flies are beyond our control. your your wife Rita expressed how clean the boat was when she came on it and was pleased with the boat A longer trip would allow us to get to new fishing areas which could have resulted in better results for the number of Fish. You decided to come in early not me teenage boys are always a question if they’re gonna be interested enough to come out on Lake Michigan  God bless you take care 
Captain Jim and his wife were amazing hosts. Communication was great during the booking process. They explained everything clearly on the day and with a great sense of humour. We got off to a slow start in terms of bites but Jim tried lots of different techniques to entice the fish and we ended up landing 4 decent salmon. Thoroughly enjoyable day out on the lake.

These guys are great for family trips. My nephew and I are experienced fishermen, my two grandsons 12 and 13 knew nothing of this way of fishing. We had work hard to find active fish but they did find em. We all hung in there and caught the fish that bit. Everyone of us caught fish, and none got away. Great trip

Highly recommend Blue Max Charters! Capt Jim and Anita are great guides. Both made the fishing trip enjoyable, informative and successful for my family. We were on the fish as soon as Capt Jim started setting up the trolling gear. Anita expertly maneuvered the boat where all of us had the best chance to experience reeling in a salmon. Capt Jim provided us information about Milwaukee river area and the industries and buildings along the river banks. Will definitely charter them again.
