LuredOut Guide Service invites you to experience the stunning waters of Port O'Connor. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Wes can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Black Drum, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, Redfish, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!" On these trips, it’s common to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your boat for the day is a 25' center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Wes has rods and reels for you.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
