Around here the fishing is popular for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, Amberjack, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Bull Shark, and more if conditions allow. On these trips, it’s common sight fish and to bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Maximillian also offers fly fishing.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be fishing aboard a 22' Cape Horn center console with space for 5 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed.

Captain Max was everything we could’ve asked for. Great guide with a lot of knowledge of the area. Took the time to help my wife cast and get us on the fish. Amazing conversation over the 4 hour trip. Will definitely book again!!

Although the weather didn’t cooperate we were able to fish on. Had 2 of my grandsons out and Capt. Max was great with them and they both landed fish. My family will use this Captain again.
