Make the most of your time in Panama City and go fishing with Maxed Out Guide Fishing. Captain Maximillian will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from 20 years of local experience.
Around here the fishing is popular for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, Amberjack, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Bull Shark, and more if conditions allow. On these trips, it’s common sight fish and to bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Maximillian also offers fly fishing.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be fishing aboard a 22' Cape Horn center console with space for 5 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed.

The 4 hour inshore trip with Captain Maximilian was great. From the moment we arrived he made sure that we had a great experience. It was clear he knows the waters and found us some fish. Given that it was winter and the down season for fishing we didn't expect to limit out but we managed to find a couple solid reds and a couple other fish. The sheepshead were stealing our bait but we couldn't manage to get any in the boat. Maximilian did a great job helping my 7 year old get the first and biggest fish of the day which was a joy to watch. I also appreciate that he uses pretty decent light tackle which allows for a better experience. We'll call him up the next time we're in town.

Capt. Max Created a Fun Experience

From the moment we arrived at the dock until we moored, Capt Max made our entire trip enjoyable and fun. He has infectious personality while at the same time is very chill. He is an execllent guide and was able to find us fish at every location we tried. I would highly recommend you charter with him. We certainly will again when return to Panama City Beach area in the future.

Max was awesome with kids and made it extremly kid friendly. Had jackets for the little ones, I did not come prepared for how cold it was. Unfortunately we did not catch many fish or big ones, but that comes with fishing. He did run out of live bait, it was to my understanding the attached fishing store did not have any.
