Around here it's common to catch Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail Amberjack, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Silver Trevally, Mako Shark, Snapper and more, depending on when you go. During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Nick runs a 35' Sportfisher with capacity for 7 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
