Gonzalez Sport Fishing Charters is here to show you the stunning waters of Playa Hermosa. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain David is prepared to put you on fish.

Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Needlefish, Rainbow Runner, Roosterfish, Sailfish, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Gonzalez Sport Fishing Charters are child-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

Capt. David will bring you aboard a 27' Pursuit center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don't leave home without sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
