Make the most of your time in Shady Cove and go fishing with Blodgett Guide Service. Captain Shawn will be your guide, bringing aboard years of angling experience.

Fishing around here will often see you targeting Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Chinook Salmon, and more with any luck. You can expect to do some spinning, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Shawn believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks!

Your trip begins aboard a 16' Rivercraft drift boat with space for 3 passengers (two adults, 1 child). It has all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some bottled water on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board, but make sure to bring your own lunch and snacks that you prefer.
