We will be using spinning reels with 10lb test on them and 7' long Dobyn's fishing rods. Upscale equipment with combos around $2-300.

Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available on the boat, otherwise you should bring your own if you so prefer. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Capt. Daniel has rods and reels for you, along with lures. You'll be dropping lines from a 24' Pontoon with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray preferred), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
