Hoping to go fishing in Sooke? That's what Sooke Saltwater Fishing is here for! Our experienced and seaworthy guides allow you the benefit to years of professional experience.

You're likely to fish for Halibut, Chinook, Coho, and Pink Salmon, Black Rockfish, Rockfish, Lingcod, and more.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Our fun and accommodating captains welcome children aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, inquire with us and we will make sure we have you sorted . Also remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

You'll be fishing from our brand new state of the art 24' Aluminum sportfishing west coast designed vessel with comfortably seating 6 passengers. It has downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for privacy and comfort.

Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's appreciated to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Before coming aboard, get your local fishing license for everyone in your group so we can be sure we are following all of the regulations and logging your catch. Buy your license online and print your license before your trip. You can ask the captain at any time if you have any questions before your trip.  The fishing is absolutely amazing and some of the best in the world here in Sooke BC.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Sooke Saltwater Fishing!
