Landing the fish of a lifetime is a distinct possibility with Blue Zone Fishing Team!  With Captain Seth at the helm, you'll benefit from decades of knowledge and experience fishing up and down the Western Hemisphere from Alaska to Panama, as well as years here on the Kona coast.  It's our goal to make this the most amazing trip you've ever had!

The unique Kona currents act like a giant wheel depositing tens of thousands of new fish to the Kona coast daily.  Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Spearfish, Mahi Mahi (Dorado), Ahi (Yellowfin Tuna), Aku (Skipjack Tuna), Ono (Wahoo), Uku (Green Jobfish) and Ulua (Giant Trevally) can be expected depending on the day.  Your catch will be expertly filleted for you to enjoy (Up to 10lbs).  Every effort will be made to revive-n-release Marlin.

We can adapt moment to moment and you can expect to do light/heavy tackle, trolling, jigging, chunking, casting, or deep drops.  Don't worry if you're unfamiliar with these techniques.  We love to teach and always go through a safety briefing.  Let us know if you'd like to focus on certain species. 

Capt. Seth is happy to have kids aboard!  We have child-sized life vests, but also feel free to bring your own.  Kids under 13 are required to wear a PDF at all times.  You are encouraged to bring snacks and refreshmnents which you can keep in our soda cooler.

Your Non-Resident Hawaii fishing licenses are available online from the Hawaii DLNR website. ($20/day, or $40/week). Remember sunglasses, liquids, and sunblock (non-spray).  Alcohol is allowed only in moderation.  No smoking/vaping/hard liquor/glass bottles/intoxicants.

Your BZFT adventure begins aboard our athletic 27' Sea Fox Commander Center Console. It is equipped with Outriggers, 3D Sonar, Fighting, Shimano Tackle, and much more. Bathroom on board, so no worries.  Our lounge has an amazing 360 open air view and our Twin 150 Yamahas burn quiet and clean, so no stinky fumes, just fresh ocean breeze and hot fishing action!
