Dragon Slayer Outfitters is here to give you a personal experience on the wild waters of Winchester Bay.
Around here you can cast a line in nearshore and offshore waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.
The name of the game around here is bowfishing, and that's what you can expect on the day of your trip. You can also do a bit of jigging, bottom fishing, handlining, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Shawn has all the fishing gear you need, so all you have to bring is good aim!
These waters are known for Lingcod, Coho Salmon, Salmon, Blue Shark, Albacore Tuna, Smallmouth Bass, Black Rockfish, Halibut, Crab, Rockfish, Chinook Salmon, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.
Fish that are legal to harvest are yours to keep. That's dinner, right there! Trips take place aboard a 26’ North River Seahawk Off Shore aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 6 passengers.
Be sure to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen in any weather conditions.
Shawn will have drinks for you, and if you wish to bring your own simply ask. Shawn welcomes anglers of all ages on these trips, including kids. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you'll have to bring your own.
The Winchester Bay wilderness is calling, now let Dragon Slayer Outfitters take you there!
