Odds On Barra – Inshore 

Excited to catch some fish in Cardwell? Odds On Barra is here to make it happen! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Joshua knows them forwards and back.

Barramundi, Queenfish, Threadfin Salmon, Black Bream, Javelin Grunter, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to bottom fish.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Capt. Joshua operates a 19' bay boat that holds up to 2 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Joshua has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
