Ravenel Fishing Charters – Family Package
We specialize in FUN family fishing trips. As a Father of twin 5-year old daughters, I love nothing more than getting kids excited about being out on the water catching fish!
If you want to make lasting memories for your family then look no further. Even if you think your kids aren't into it; Justin will make sure they enjoy themselves. He is very enthusiastic, friendly, engaging and most of all patient. Let's go have some fun!
Capt. Justin has two large center console boats that hold up to six passengers each. We can take up to 12 passengers and fish side by side for larger groups for special occasions.
Your captain will provide rods and reels and bait.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray) and your drinks and snacks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

10/10 Experience – Kid-Friendly, Educational, and So Much Fun!
We had an amazing experience on this fishing charter! I was a little hesitant about taking our youngest out, but Captain Justin was so great with our kids—it completely put me at ease. He was patient, friendly, and made the trip fun and educational for all of us. Both boys were thrilled to catch sharks (a major highlight!), and the captain made sure they were safe and had the best time. Beyond just fishing, we learned so much about the island’s history and wildlife. He even took the time to stop at a small beached area where we got to explore, hunt for sea glass and pottery, and make some unforgettable memories. Hands down a 10 out of 10 experience. Highly recommend to families or anyone looking for a fun, memorable day on the water! 🐟🌊🦈

We come to edisto every summer. We spend alot of time on the beach and ride bike. This year I booked my husband and I a three hour fishing trip. I had no idea what to expect! Captian Justin told us about some history of the river and showed us all the beauty of the edisto river. All while catching bait and then going after some sea monsters! So thank you Captian Justin! Our trip was awesome!! Captain Justin was so helpful, nice and laid back. He did an amazing job helping my two kids catch some great fish and took time to let us have a great experience. He knew where to take us and he was very kind to us. He has great personality and he was a lot of fun !! Totally recommend. We will be going back!!

Best Part of Our Trip
Captain Justin was wonderful, we are not big fishing people and he taught us everything. It was perfect for our three boys. We called eight or nine bonnet sharks and two stingrays! He also took the time to explain things around us and tell us the history of Edisto. Highly recommend and we will be booking again!
